About the Captain

joseph dewberry with fish frenzy Captain Joseph Dewberry is a second generation captain with over 25 years of fishing experience. He was born and raised in Pensacola and has fished the local waters since he was a very young child. He learned his knowledge and passion from his father, Captain Mike Dewberry, who is known as one of the best captains to ever fish the Gulf of Mexico. Joseph has done well in many fishing tournaments all over the area and is well known for his fishing skills in our local community.

As a full-time guide, he is on the water 300 plus days a year and understands the patterns of all our local fish. Capt. Joseph Dewberry holds a USCG 100 Ton Master’s License and has been through extensive safety and CPR training and will always get you and your family home safe. Fishing is more than a job or a sport to Capt. Dewberry, it’s a passion and a way of life!
